meatballs from mystery person
I mix together 500g pork mince, 2x packs bacon finely chopped, finely chopped pig's liver (one pack from the supermarket) and a packet or two of sage and onion stuffing (made up as directed on the packet and allowed to cool). Mix it all together by hand and form into large balls. Cook in a deep tray in a hot oven for 30 mins. Fry off 1-2lbs onions and make up gravy to your preference (I use instant gravy granules). Pour the gravy over the faggots. Cover the tray with tin foil. Put them back into the oven on a LOW heat for around 75 minutes. They freeze well, if they last long enough. They're really tasty.
