Drive-through test was at 11am.

4:30 I get a text: my results are in the lab, I should hear back in the next 24 hours.

In fact it was the next hour. I got the text just before 5:30pm: negative. I could even go to the parentals for dinner (I'd been planning to stay home once I got the test).

So now the next step is to see the local doc about: a) breathing heaviness, b) a gynacology appointment...

That really was incredibly fast, and hurrah for a negative COVID test.

I've heard of people getting same-day results, but for me it usually takes 48 hours. But I also picked that location for the test because it was in the carpark of a pathology lab...

Yes, you do need to see the doc, but at least you don't have Covid!

There are still a bunch of testing sites out there, the issue has been which ones are still open and how long it takes to get results.
