Canberra tomorrow and Wednesday I think.

I'm so tired right now, I'm really not sure I actually can make the drive down and do the stuff. I mean, I will, because I must. But I really don't want to right now. Just so tired!

I am also fighting (well, I probably shouldn't be fighting) a mid-lower back strain.

I went to see a Chinese massager on Friday. Local area, they had availability, they were cheap. Three days later, I'm still sore.

Bending over is out of the question unless I have support. Leaning across is definitely a no-no. Even sitting up has proven painful if I'm not perfectly aligned in butt, spine, and neck, with my core 'activated'.

As my sister pointed out, it probably would have been better to go to a proper massage therapist. The Chinese massagers are used to burly, bulky white guys who work in construction and need a full and properly vicious kneading. (At least, if the clientele that I heard/saw while I was there was any indication, they do. And, no, it's not that kind of a massage parlour.)

I, as a petite Asian woman, can do with a little less pressure, please. I'd like a massage that doesn't leave me sore for days afterwards, which I was when I limped home on Friday, and set up for the Saturday gardening group Xmas Party/AGM, and on Sunday as I lay back and waited for my COVID test result.

So right now even sitting carries the ghost of pain. Hopefully not long-term, but it's a bit iffy right now. And I'm in dire need of naps. Many of them.

Anyway, I'll be seeing my regular (monthly) massage therapist on Saturday. After which I may lay down and not move again all of Saturday night and into Sunday.
