Ugh. I'm participating in the Froday Flash Fiction "10 Year Fandom Battle" Challenge over at fffc.

That's not the 'ugh' part.

The 'ugh' part is where I get about 3K into a story for Round 2 of the battle and then realise that this is probably at least 10K and I don't actually have the time to do this.

So I dashed something off this morning, involving Uhura and Spock and snuggling and then read back through the previously posted fics and found a fic involving Kirk and Spock and Uhura and snuggling...

*sigh*

Hockey grading game tonight. I am awfully, terribly, dreadfully unfit and permanently exhausted.

Ahahaha. I've been there! This year for Black Is Beautiful, I started three--count them, THREE--fics in order to get one finished product that I was happy with. I like the other ideas, and may finish and post them eventually but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I always end up starting a bunch of fics that don't actually get finished for any exchange. Often, I end up having to dash off a 1K story two days before deadline because the OH NO IT'S GONE EPIC bug has struck again...
