The up side of the week is that we may have found the root cause of an issue that's been going on for months at work.
The down side is...
I went for a remedial massage by a Chinese masseuse. And I really have to do that never again. They are not in any way gentle or remedial - it's mostly pummelling and rough handling. Which...I'd never visited this practitioner before and I won't again.
So, today, before the massage, the pain issue was mostly when standing and bending slightly backwards.
Now, it's pretty much in any position while doing anything.
Pain in lower back and right buttock, running down just outside the hipbone and into the top of the thigh. That's usually the sciatic nerve, right?
Rest and painkillers and chiropractic adjustment. Which I won't be doing until Monday.
It's not looking promising for hockey.
