Multifandom Trope Fest: dear author letter UNFINISHED

Dear MFTF writer,

Thank you so much for getting involved with this, for offering for my requests, for putting the time and energy into trying to formulate a gift!

I think this is my first time doing MFTF, so it's all a bit new and exciting, and I'm really looking forward to your takes on these favoured tropes with my favourite characters and pairings!

Do Not Wants

- stories of adventure and drama which happen to contain slices of the characters personal interaction with each other

I guess that last point that I really enjoy is the mingling of professional and personal: a lot of these fandoms have people who work together, but they don't exactly compartmentalise and go home to their own family at the end of the day. Their work relationships are also the big personal relationships in their lives. I mean, to some degree, that's a fannish trope in and of itself, isn't it?

This is the 'square dance, intimately' part of my MCU requests: either a sedoretu or polyamory, for Reasons (whatever they may be). My favourite character in this canon is Maria Hill, and I'd love to see what you come up with if you decide to use this request! I particularly like sedoretus, but I'm also up for polyamory so long as everyone is included and loved and cared for in the relationship.

My favourite character in the Buffyverse is Faith, but I love her interaction with the other characters I've selected, and I would have liked to see more 'found family' dynamics about her as she matured. (She and Buffy were both pretty young when the series started and not all that much older as the series(es) ended.) Her redemption arc in Angel was a thing of beauty, and I particularly enjoyed the way she interacted/connected with the 'fang gang' in LA during the reign of the Beast and the hunt for Angelus - I'd love to see her finding her footing there, being mistrusted at first maybe, and then developing trust.
