Went out boating with a friend yesterday. A whole group of people were invited but I was the only one interested. It was a boiling hot day and lovely out on the water. There's something about land and sky and water all together (Scotland and the Isle of Skye was big for this) and just magnificent.

Another twist in the saga of dad's health. He went out for a dinner, ate too much acidic stuff and his recovering stomach couldn't take it. Hospital visit again with gut issues. GRARGH DAD NO.
On the plus side, he's going to HK to see his granddaughter at the end of the month. We've told him to take lots of pics and videos.
We really need to get the three of us together and take some photos for sending to niecelet. Also to send to nephlet up in the Netherlands.

It's 10am and I feel like I should decide what I'm doing today. I was originally planning to go for a jog down at the gym but I am uncertain. The usual uncertainty about doing something that involves effort. UGH.

I should try to make a purse-phone-keys holder for when I don't want to take my handbag along somewhere. Something that can take (at least) my phone and my keys so they're easily accessible and not tossed all around everywhere. I know, that's probably a "small handbag" but I only have a 25x35cm leather handbag which barely fits into soft bags of around the same size, but which also isn't appropriate to take places like, eg. the beach, or onto boats.
Let's think about this. Although, I guess I also have that handbag I made a few years back for Frocktails:
It hardly gets used for anything else; I think I've only used it the once for the frocktails which is...a terrible waste.
Okay, maybe I don't have to make one after all. Just use what's already there (even if it's a bit fancy).

I like traveling with a lot of pockets for such things. I'm a big one for carrying everything in pockets, which works better in the winter than in the summer. I have a couple of jackets that are pocket rich.
