I think I had enough sleep? From around 10:30 - 5am, drowsing from 6:30-7:15, with a brief wake-up at midnight to put the cats away. (I keep trying to sleep with the cats, but they crowd me and in the end, I put them to bed at whatever hour I wake up and Mal starts batting at my nose with her paw because she's hungryyyy...
Food. I have eaten breakfast.
Medication. Took my iron tablets.
Water. Hmm... Yeah, I probably need more water. *whines* But getting up and getting the bottle is sooooo faaaaaar (4m across the room, open the door, fish still-full bottle out of bag)...
Okay. Going to get it now...

re: cats
I have become something of a sucker for letting the cats into my study while I'm working (they park in front of the heater), and going to bed with them (at least for a couple of hours).
I'm also a bit worried about Smokey, who is pretty thin, and her fur has that lank-ish look to it that cats sometimes get when they're sick. She's also a bit anxious - yowling a lot more in the last six months than she used to. It might just be the disruption caused by the windows, but she has been a lot more needy than she used to be.

Next four days are going to be nuts. I'm GO GO GO GO for social things and getting ready for the permabee, then the permabee on Saturday, then Sunday is also Full Of The Things, and UGH.
I need a nap. I seem to need a nap every day lately. Maybe I should just schedule in an hour's siesta after lunch. I might actually be able to concentrate after if I did.
