Hm. I wonder if it's because I stopped the iron tablets just on two weeks ago (I couldn't find the packet, so I stopped. And then I asked my sister (B2, not B1, who's still in the UK) if she'd seen it and she opened the cupboard and asked, "This packet here?"
...
Might also be that I did a PT session and an extra run on Thursday (I don't usually do a Thursday night run), then another run just this morning. I'm always sore after PT sessions anyway, and being sore and tired and exhausted...
A school friend contacted me a couple of weeks back about possibly playing sub for her team (different association, different competition to mine) during a 'lean' period with players. One of the games is this weekend, and since my competition doesn't have games over the middle weekend of the winter holidays, I'm going to play for hers.
But I'm going to need some sleep to do it properly.
So tomorrow's recipe is: rest.
That doesn't mean I won't do anything. I'm pretty bad at doing nothing, and I need a really large and comfy couch on which to sprawl and do nothing which I don't really have that at this point in time.
Anyway I have a gardening group meeting in the afternoon (and although it's scheduled for two hours, it will probably go for the entire afternoon - must take some cheese and pickles and cider and tequila along).
I may plant some seeds? It's the right moon-time for planting root vegies and I'm sure I have a bunch in my box of seeds.
I'll put together the cat tree my stepdad donated from his cat, Dara, who died last year. And then work out where, exactly, it's going to go.
I might put some stuff up on the local group for people to take away and out of my house.
I might cook up some Chinese Banana Mochi rolls (because I've got all the ingredients and I've been trying to gin myself up to cook these for AAAAAGES).
I will not move any more boxes. I will not cut the boards for the shelving (that I'll need by the end of the week; I'll do that on Monday). I will not do the vinegar spray-clean that the mouldering architraves need.
Even if I really really kinda want to.
Did I mention that resting doesn't sit well with me?

I...went outside and did a few things. But it wasn't longer than 30 minutes and I came back inside and am now on the couch!
I'm afraid I'm Very Terrible at Doing Nothing, though. The best I can do is "Not Too Much".

My mom had such a couch which I got when their house was sold. It make such a difference to being able to relax and nap when the mood strikes. I hope one day you find your couch.
