if you post a new story and you backdate it before posting, the subscription emails go through as usual, they just say "backdated work" in the body of the email

if you don't want the subscription emails to go through for newly posted backdated works, you need to do a sock account dance: post the backdated work to your sock account with either 0 subscribers or only you subscribing; wait an hour or until you see the notification email; add your main account as co-creator; remove your sock account as co-creator

Maria really wants to have A Conversation with all the people in alt-Wanda's universe who let things devolve to this point. It seems impossible to conceive that absolutely everyone around the young woman managed to drop the ball when it came to looking after her emotional health, particularly if she lost her brother, then lost her lover, and then lost her goddamned mind. Surely it's obvious that if you leave a woman of Wanda's capabilities to her own grief and struggle then she's going to find coping mechanisms that could at best be described as 'unhelpful' for everyone else around her!

Considering the Snapture and those five years, you'd think that maybe a few more people might be 'trauma informed' eh?

JUST MAYBE

Really it's the same way in a lot of the movies -- there's a brief mention of some jail cabin where Bruce and Steve both stayed (wtf), but other than that, Tony deals with his PTSD mostly alone, Steve has Nat and Sam in TWS but apparently no therapy or even any post-defrosting debriefing, Tony is like "oh yeah I fixed Pepper" after Extremis and trauma, so on and so on....people make fun of the "Avengers in therapy" trope but they really do all need therapy!

It's one in which she was never a major player, never a person of interest or of concern. A piece on the board to be shuffled around, or there to be sacrificed, instead of contributing to the ending.
