aurora australis? I don't see no stinking aurora australis...

As is customary for when there's a meteorological event in our skies: Sydney was overcast. Just about everywhere else in Australia got a SPECTACULAR display in the sky.

But in Sydney it rained most of the weekend. *sigh*

We had clouds. Clouds. Ooh, more clouds!

And today, when the aurora is pretty much gone (or at least, retreated to it's more usual geography)...it's all clear skies. DAMMIT.

Mind you, this is the first clear skies we've had in a week. *sigh* At least it's going to be less rainy in the coming week.

Same problem here. Every time we have something in the sky going on it's raining, cloudy or going on somewhere else.
