The commute isn't terrible; it's a lot more direct thanks to the metro, although I keep having to change transport.
I'm surviving, but am tired, and had forgotten just how hard it is to "live life" around an office-plus-commute. The garden? I barely see it. Crafts and quiting? Meh. Writing? Well, I have managed a little more, but I'm still stuck on the confrontation with the non-dire Fae, mostly because the MC is a bystander watching it all happen (this time) and her mentor is about to 'sacrifice' herself.
As usual, I have a great many plants and not enough places to grow them all. Also, possibly insufficient composting.
But I did chat with a neighbour as I was walking home. She's a couple of houses down and was clearing out her front lawn which was full of twigs and leaves and stuff, and I asked if I could take it, and she was happy to pile it all in the green bin and bring it up to the yard.
I'll tip it into the chicken yard on Saturday (or, more correctly, get the young garden helper to do so). Yes, I have hired a young garden helper for a couple of hours on Saturday to do some heavy lifting stuff that I can't do myself.
Oof. I'm really tired, and B1 is asleep on the couch, so I might go nudge her awake and suggest she got to bed.
And I will stop scrolling social media.
