Okay, so I went and ordered SGA Legacy: Homecoming from Fandemonium Books. (Haven't received it yet, although I have the shipping notice.)

However, I'd pre-ordered from The Book Repository some months before this.

Now they're telling me that they've had to cancel my order and refund my money.

I'd actually forgotten that I'd paid for it! Of course, now I'm glad I got it straight from Fandemonium, instead of waiting on the order from Book Repository.

Still...curiouser and curiouser.

A review of SGA Legacy: Homecoming by [livejournal.com profile] settiai that says it much better than I ever could!

No spoilers, so if you want to check out what the books are about, she's given enough for you to get a feel for the bits and pieces taking place, without giving away the entirety of the plot.

I'll post some of my own impressions once I get the book (it may very well be languishing in the mailbox up on the street - we haven't collected the mail in two days now) and read it through properly instead of piecemeal. But [personal profile] settiai's review is good for the no-longer-in-SGA fans who are wondering if they should.

(I say you should, but you might want to hear it from someone who isn't me...)
