I got a right whack across my foot at the game on Sunday - bad enough that I limped off and couldn't go back on. (It sucked.) One of those lovely purple dot bruises in the middle of an expanding circle of red.
Now, it's just this gentle purplish colour. And aches a bit.
No bones broken, although I'm not 100% about the nerves there. (That's okay. I don't need nerves above my big toe's 3rd metatarsal...do I?)
And, uh, we had the Veterans' hockey semi-finals last night, which I played. It ached a bit but wasn't painful. And we won 3-1, so...we're in the finals!
But, yeah, my foot is a bit stiff and a bit achey and I'm debating the wisdom of going to the morning gym class.
Also, I'm contemplating a job in Brisbane. Because manufacturing and retail are down and that's jobs in NSW and Vic,, while mining and resources are up, and that's jobs in Qld, SA, and WA. I don't want to go to Brisbane, but it's all quiet down here and I'm running out of money.
