Tip is still broken and healing and swollen, but I can move my other fingers without major discomfort again, and the finger doesn't hurt or ache every time I hit it against something...it just tingles lightly.
Typing is still awkward, though, because I'm using my middle and little fingers to hit all the keys that my ring finger usually does and it's a bit tricksy. But at least I can type without major discomfort.
It's good and bad timing. Good in that it's the end of hockey so I'm not missing any games, and good in that I've finished the Big Project of Doom that's been on my plate for the last nine months and the next one doesn't start for another week. Bad in that all the things that were in my action plan for the move? Have had to be postponed and worked around. Which will make the next three weeks kind of crazy as I make up for lost time.

I had to default on three fic exchanges because of this finger - just couldn't write enough in time. And it's frustrating and annoying and they're totally going to get their gifts later, but I can't do all the things I wanted to do NOW. For someone as busy as me, this is a problem.
Anyway, moving day is set for the 18th.
