a practical acquaintance with bees is at 28K and I still haven't reached the halfway point. *shudder* It was supposed to be for the
marvel_bang but I couldn't promise it was going to be finished by then - incidentally,
geckoholic, that's the same fic I sent you for the
wipbigbang which also never got off the ground.
Sokovia, Suburbia, and the Senate is 1/4 through at around 10K. The premise is all laid out, the stage set, the characters firmly positioned. The next 1/4 of the story is the relationship development.
( and all the small stuff, the end of year exchanges, and the state of the profic )
So that's the writing front - crazy, eh?
Let's not even count all the things I want to do in the garden now that it's SPRING. (And it's definitely spring: my tulips say so!

My mother's assistance in the garden has been...mixed useful. On the positive side, I have four holes in my garden right now, and many fruit trees in which to put them. On the negative side, she and her gardener weeded out all my orchard groundcover...

This week, I'm going to dig up spaces and plant a lot of quick-growing greens for the spring/early summer salads. I probably should have planted them out before this, but I was lazy before I went away in August and this is the result.
Quilting...I have two things with a deadline, one which is a class, and four things that I want to get done before the end of the year. And that's the 'easy' list.
Why are there so many things to do? Why?
And today I'm back to work after four weeks off. I'm dreading to discover what client I'll end up at...
