Thank you for writing for me, dear ToT author!

Firstly, I'm looking forward to reading whatever you trick/treat me with!

Secondly, I've scribbled down a range of prompts/ideas that might be something you could take and write. But in the end, it's optional - if none of the written prompts speak to you, then go with something that does.

Thirdly, In these canons, I'd prefer the story didn't have a specific Halloween slant, especially given that some canons take place where Halloween would likely be less celebrated. (Also: I'm Australian and while Halloween is becoming more popular here, it's not a patch on the megaholiday status in the US.)

And finally, I don't mind if it's a trick or a treat, take it light and fluffy, or take it dark - just keep in mind that while I enjoy a good dark/edgy story, I also like there to be a little leavening at the end, a light at the end of the tunnel.

Do Not Wants:
- nominated/major character death
- nominated characters as antagonists
- unrequested pairings

Likes:
- female friendships and working relationships
- respectful romantic relationships
- characters showing intimacy/friendship in ways appropriate to them
- alternate universes: what-ifs and fusions both (particularly fond of Jaegers, Black Jewels, daemons, and shifters/vampires)
- stories of adventure and drama
- slices of life

Prydain, Harry Potter, Cyclone Series, Blood&Smoke series, Belgariad, James Bond, MCU, Pacific Rim )

I am also good with any prompts from previous exchanges that match the parameters of this exchange. You can find my signups/letters at dear+fic+writer+letters if you're so inclined.

However, ultimately, if none of these prompts take your fancy, then don't worry. Simply write the characters and fandom we matched on, and it's all good!

So exhaustion.

Woke ~5am yesterday morning, had to wrangle the chook yard so they couldn't get out at 5:30, in the office by 8am. Worked all day, had a concert at 6:30pm, got home ~9:30pm. Moved Hainan chicken back into the coop (who still managed to get out), sat down on the bed, and petted cats for about 30 mins before exhaustion got the better of me and I put them to bed and me to bed.

I feel like I've been failing at adulting lately. Working full time and managing a household alone is exhausting, and I haven't washed the dishes, cleaned the house, or even remembered to pick up more petfood. Don't even ask me about work: I feel like I'm getting nothing done at work or during the hour long commute.

Today is, at least, short(ish). I woke only when my alarm went off, fed the cats, fed the chooks, will go home around 4:30pm today, and maybe do some cooking before heading off to bible study.

Still. So exhaustion.
