Or maybe a few naps.
I have a vaguely sore throat again; it's not COVID - at least, the RAT test comes back negative.
I think there may be a mould problem in the wall/ceiling. Although we did get the gutter fixed and it seemed to hold up in last night's brief downpours. Now I wish I'd gotten it fixed years ago - before it (probably) mouldered up the inside of the wall and started giving me breathing problems.
We have sunny days again. I need to sort out/plant out my winter veg. The chook pen is thoroughly fumigated. and will hopefully stay that way for a while. I need to give the chooks a diatomaceous earth dusting. I also need to look up what happens to the fumigants: I have a sinking feeling they don't break down for anything. Or maybe they break down after four months or something (which is when the fumigation allegedly needs to be repeated).
Yesterday, due to a long weekend in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory), I went writing in the morning with a NaNo friend, and in the afternoon, I sat down and did crafting with a permie friend. It was a nice day, but also tiring. Especially since I spent the weekend travelling to my all-weekend-every-second-weekend permaculture course.
I got home (Sunday and Monday nights) and I was kinda zonked.
This morning, I cleaned up the dining table. Boxed up a lot of papers that are mostly B1's letters that she hasn't answered. Wiped up the tabletop with cloths. I surreptitiously tossed out a few things that were never going to be used/touched...and I'll do so again when it comes time to unbox the things in a couple of months time after any eggs have hatched and the bugs died for want of food.
Hockey training tonight. I am caught between resignation to being in Team 3 and depression. Not sure which way it's going to swing.
And on an up note: Bridgerton is back on the 25th? Anyone up for a chat-watch in the coming weeks?
