Having returned home, with everything on credit, I am suddenly filled with the urge to go on a spending spree.

ARGH.

vermin talk: rats )

In other purchasing news, I've been eyeing off these rolling pins for ages, and they have a SALE!

IDK. The return home has been nice, but also frustrating in having to deal with house things, realising how un-hangout-able the place is (particularly compared to my friends' houses), and comprehending just how little storage space we actually have so everything (EVERYTHING) is kept in boxes in the public spaces.

There are reams of things that B1 has for her Occupational Therapy work, which she thinks she might need "someday", but you know how it is Some Days Never Come.

We are going to have to sort through some stuff for the window replacements, but B1 is all "oh, we can do it in the week after Christmas". If I had a dollar for every time I heard 'I'll do it at [this time]' and nothing happened...

In spite of the cleaners, 36 hours later we are once again drowning in dust and fur everywhere. DESPAIR.

Don't even get me started on politics or the environment. *sigh*

Some of this is doubtless the post-holiday malaise, but still. There's a lot happening right now, all delicately balanced.
