Finish the tattoo today (I hope; if I can take the pain).
STILL HAVE NOT TOLD MY MOTHER.
B1: "HOW old are you?"
( half-finished tattoo )
I'll post a pic on social media once it's finished. Which will hopefully be late tonight. Going after work, since I wasn't bold enough to ask for a day off having taken three weeks off in October and taking a week off in December in addition to having the Christmas-New Year section off...
Oh man, I need to make my budget for the next six weeks.

SB1 and SIL1 have had their kiddo! Now I have a niecelet (half-brother, HK), and two nephlets (SB1, Netherlands & SB2, interstate). All around Christmastime. All in other cities (two in other countries) which makes it hard to do in-person auntying.
Dang.
Nephlet 1's 1st birthday party was on the weekend, and he was a happy, interested little kid, pretty cheerful once he woke from his nap and had something to eat.
Anyway, Niecelet is 2, Nephlet 1 is 1, and now we have Nephlet 2 who is just arrived!
Guess I'm gonna have to make another RTW trip if only to see him! Maybe this time next year?

Finally have pinned down someone to come mow the lawn. The previous guy promised he'd turn up twice and then didn't, and only responded when I contacted him. *sigh* I would mind the 'not turning up' less if they let me know first. Also the weeds are crazy all over the lawns, which I don't mind too much except that the damn things spread.
I also have some very nice flowers happening in the garden, though: some lilies, some poppies, a salvia or two.

The and nectarines have gone crazy, and I've actually managed to dig up some potatoes. Of a decent size for once!

Yeah, I know the second photo isn't potatoes. But the raspberry canes are giving us a decent handful every couple of days. Tasty tasty!

I am in full scrap-quilt mode right now: all the scrap strips, all the scrap squares, all the simple-but-effective tops...
Just about to finish a Postage Stamp quilt top (trying to sew at least one block a day), and contemplating what I can do with all the still-remaining scraps in my scrapbox.
