...I played hockey yesterday.
It was fine!
Okay, so there was a kind of lingering feeling like I wasn't sure that my uterus wasn't going to fall out when I got on the field, but it's pretty much 'low-level discomfort' kind of like having light period cramps.
Anyway, I scored two goals, which I thought equalised us and then put us ahead, but it turns out the other team didn't score at all - the one that I thought they got was disallowed for...reasons which I don't recall.
It was a good game, though. They had us in the first fifteen minutes, getting to the ball first and crowding us off. But with a pep talk at quarter time, and a reminder that we need to take that extra step and get in there, we pretty much drove them hard. Should have gotten a lot more goals, we had heaps of shots, but the goalie was good. (They did bring a B-grade goalie down because they were short, we were fine with that - maybe we shouldn't have been!)
Final score 3-0.
