TITLE: Ways And No Ways
AUTHOR: Tielan
RATING: PG
SUMMARY: What could have been, what would have been, what should have been, are gone. There's only the present left to them.
WORD COUNT: 373
NOTES: I wrote this in the last...um...fifteen minutes. It's nearly 11pm and I was drawing an absolute blank as to what I could sub for today's [livejournal.com profile] choc_fic challenge. Unfortunately, my brain has lately gone epic and anything that presented itself was no less than 30,000 words or so. *grimace* This was written for the prompt "Stargate: Atlantis, Teyla/anyone/gen: alternatives - coulda, woulda, shoulda." I wanted to do more gen with a focus on Teyla, but it's just not presenting itself lately. The muse is all PWP, angst, or fricking epic right now.

With thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ltcoljsheppard, who unconsciously prompted me with his fic "When He Touches Her"!

"There's a moment, with his hand on the swell of her belly, when John feels like the father of Teyla's child."
