I'm not going to shoot anybody for having to drop out of the ficathon, if it comes to that. *g* Sometimes life just gets in the way. At this point, though, the team category is looking so sparse for next week (like, er ... nothing, though one person has promised to have a pretty long story to me this weekend) that I'd be willing to take something really short (flashfic-length) if it's easier to do something short and fluffy (team breakfast, etc) than something long and plotty.
