It's still an extremely enjoyable episode.
My thoughts onyaoi the episode: let me show you them!
Episode reaction post | The Opening Scene | A Note On Teyla's Parentage
Second time all the way through was still awesome. I loved all the little friendship/team moments. I loved that Teyla isn't expendable. I loved almost everything.
I loved Lorne's sarcasm to Rodney. I loved Teyla's sarcasm to Rodney.
I loved the exchanges between John and Ronon being guys - and not just guys, but guys guys! They were AWESOME.
I loved that when John realises he's got almost all his team - people he trusts to back him up, to get everything together with him and to really want Teyla out - that's when he makes a break for freedom and the plan!
I loved Sam and Caldwell's exchange.
I loved John wanting to carry Teyla out like a Big Damn Hero and not being able to.
I loved Ronon carrying Teyla, being all *grr* protective.
I loved John trusting Teyla about Kanaan - but also asking for Kanaan's weapon first.
I even loved Rodney delivering the bubs, and Sam teasing him.
And yes, I loved the opening scene. It's in John's head, sure, but we know the one he's dreaming of having a romantic dinner with!
I'm still all squee about this episode - quite surprisingly so. I mean, there are plotholes and ifs and buts and wtfs and so forth, but as SGA goes, it's a good episode - not too much resemblance to an SG1 episode, everyone has lines and something to do, no one character particularly dominates to the point of being annoying, and it works for me in a low-key kind of "this is way better than some of the crud they've turned out in the last couple of years" way.
YMMV.
Definitely on the rewatchable list!

Dad was even indignant than Teyla named the baby after John, instead of Rodney. I pointed out that all Rodney did was catch the kid.

And did you notice he didn't step in front of her to get it? He stays slightly behind her.

The important thing is that he's not as important to Teyla as John!! :D

Well, yeah, we already knew that! :)

"Been a pleasure."
"Likewise."
And that's it. But it says so much. And Ronon adding to their deal all the time (he's been learning negotiation tactics off Teyla).

I loved John trusting Teyla about Kanaan - but also asking for Kanaan's weapon first.
And while he's doing that, he's hovering right over Teyla and the baby. It seemed kind of possessive to me in a very subtle, non-obnoxious way.

So totally. :D
