I actually found this through a John/Teyla google search. And I'm glad I did. It's a short ficlet, friendship, but my highly-trained eye sees a nod of the head towards the romantic possibilities of John/Teyla - even if those possibilities are unexplored. The writing's evocative without being purple, and there are some lovely moments in the story. It really gives an insight into John's nature and the delicate degrees by which Teyla understands him.

I needed this.
