out, out, damned plot!

So I've been trying to write for the Het Porn Battle, except that plots keep intruding on my perfectly good smut ideas.

It's really very difficult for me to write PWP right now - I start by thinking that "ooh, that would be interesting" and then ask, "but how did they get there?" and suddenly find myself with the conundrum of "how are they going to get out of it?"

As I said to kristen999 the other night: now that SGA is ending, it looks like all my big plotbunnies are popping their heads up and heading for the clover in a last-ditch attempt to be written.

Even this one is more like a scene out of a longer, plotty idea that presented itself. And it took me pretty much the whole day to write (not counting the gym, visits to my grandmother, and assorted procrastinatory activities). BAH.

I can't read this atm, at uni, but so reading this later. :p

But you're letting plot get in the way of PWP? Tsk tsk. :p Although, I wouldn't complain, I like at least a little bit of plot in all the fics I read, unless it's a fluffy drabble. Or any drabble for that matter. :)
