in short: a chance to give itty bitty gifts to fannish people when you don't really have it in you to do a whole novel.
what to do: leave your mini-wish-list in the post. Then check the other posts for people who like the pairings/characters/stories you like, and write them a little something!
Over the years, I've met a lot of people who don't have time to write, or feel they don't have any ability, or can't write longer stories. Well, this is a chance to write something small and sweet - something cute and tasty to give someone else for a change. Plus, it's always nice to give and not just receive. I've found someone who's got an interest in some aspects I don't usually write as well as a few people who've got interests in areas I do, and I'm thinking of writing little stocking-stuffers for them. I'm hoping that someone else will do the same for me.
So, if you've always wanted to give something back, go put down your wishlist and go find the wishlist of someone you can write for.
My wishlist.
Where's yours?

Wait, I thought the point was that you post them, but you don't tell people what you're posting until the 'reveal'.
