I guess I don't see why Teyla can't be put through a lesson

My struggle is finding a lesson Teyla needs to learn. When I say that, I truly mean "my" struggle. I don't think outside the box enough. It's something I'm working on.

And if we were limited to only writing what the show gives us, then there'd be a lot less fanfiction on the internet!

So true!

As to whether I've done more with Teyla, I'll let you be the judge. Most of what I've done so far this year has been for the Last Fic Writer Standing challenge so I've been bound by those restrictions on characters, but I have written a couple of things for that which involved Teyla, and a couple of other stories (all prompt based by the way).

Keep in mind that I am a whump writer with a focus on Sheppard and McKay. I do have a couple of stories I'm working on, and I think Teyla plays an important part in them as well.
