Fantastic piece of writing. I found your fic because I was trolling for Black Jewels fanfic (not much out there that's good). I don't watch SGA but your "writer's voice" pulled me in immmediately. I am so glad that you finished the fic and gave it a complete beginning, midde and end. Most significantly is that your story "sounded" like a story that Anne Bishop could have written; the sensuality, the dark and painful histories of characters, the humour, and the emotional resonance. When I read the Black Jewels, I couldn't stop feeling all sorts of emotions evoked, your story did the same thing. Keep on writing!
