In an unlinked-to post, an anonymouse takes a pot at someone bringing up the race, gender, and sexual orientation issues of a TV show.

poisontaster has a reply that is awesome and perfectly describes my perspective:

So is it difficult, to be unable to enjoy things the way that you do, or to be happy with what I watch? Oh, boy, you betcha! It is a hard fucking thing. Because I'd like to be you. I really would. I'd like to be happy with my media. But those media boys...they just aren't telling me anything I want to hear. They're not bringing their A-game. They're thinking I'm an easy gal who will just roll for those sweet nothing lies and I'm here to tell you, I'm not the one.
