So, I may be in the US later this year - specifically early September. I'm not sure how long I can be or even whether I want to be. My hockey finals are right around that time and I'd like to play in them, as well as that if I take work in the next couple of months, I don't want to have to ask for time off in the first couple of months.
On the other hand, I am thinking about joining
sjhw_tolerance and her sister (and
skydiver119?) in January 2012 for the 5K Family Fun Run at the Tinkerbell Half-Marathon Weekend at Disneyland.
It'd be fun. And exercise. And fun. And maybe we could persuade a few other folk to come on over and, if not run, perhaps cheer? *looks hopefully around f-list*
Plus, January would be 'low season' for travelling, and it's before hockey begins (and so would be 'training for when hockey begins') and before anything major starts up for the year.
And I've never been in the US during their winter. There may be a very good reason for that, though, because I dislike temperatures below 5C.
