I mean, yeah, shipping prefs, etc. But most of us just use our IMAGINATIONS...

EXACTLY! I mean, people can 'ship whatever they like, but to insist that it has to be real? To say they're upset with an actor for bringing a child into a situation that all the evidence says exists only in their HEADS? That's past ridiculous. I really hope that none of the actors involved ever stumble across that community.

There are sane corners of SPN fandom. I swear there are. Although it's hard to remember that when reading this kind of thing. (I suspect this is also the kind of, uh, discussion that turns people off of RPF. It would definitely discourage me from seeking out RPF if I'd been interested.)
