Bones is a partnership with an underlying romantic angle.

Castle is a romance with an overarching partnership angle.

Still have to watch Bones S5 and S6, and Castle S3.5 and S4...

Yeah, but, I stopped watching Bones when the romance felt like it was driving the majority of the plot. The romance in Castle may be more upfront and part of character motivations, but it feels less important. It is a necessary component of the story, but it isn't the part doing the driving. Addition rather than reduction?

Then again, I stopped watching Bones ages back, so... *shrugs*
