Because I need to watch with other people to keep watching a show, otherwise I just fall out and never get back on the horse. (NCIS is actually a big exception: I fell off at the end of S7 and have finally gotten back in come S10 - truthfully, it's not the Tony/Ziva, it was the prospect of a storyline directly and uniquely connected to Ziva.)
The 'watching with other people' is part of the reason I struggle with H50, NCIS, and Elementary - I don't have the kind of pressure/involvement/integration that I did with Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis (to name my big two fandoms).
I stopped watching Dexter when the friend I was watching it with moved away and it wasn't so easy to drop in and watch episodes.
I had to get a friend to sit and watch BSG with me - although we kind of OD'd on it - eight episodes at a time of that series is not healthy for the brain.
So: A:TLA. Two eps a week (they're very short and sweet) shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe wind-down time after work and before writing? Or right before bed?

I admit, I found it a little childish, although I really enjoyed the portrayals of the characters and the worldbuilding.
