I loved the initial post, but the comments section devolved into "But what if she really is a bitch?" and "What if Loki really is better?" Which is why I stopped making those kinds of posts under anything but a strict lock. And filter, because people I really respect in other ways have also pulled that one.

I believe I actually got "But what if she really deserves a punch in the face?" Which, yeah, classy.

Well, the comments sections tend to devolve that way in any discussion. Hopefully she'll get a few people to question their own innate sexism towards female characters before she gets tired of having to deal with all the people defending their privilege without questioning their choices.
