seasonal busy

Life is a little breakneck right now.

It's mostly the garden and my foolishness in ordering a bunch of stuff 'on sale', which means things that are recommended to plant in Spring, but it's heading towards MidSummer right now and we'll just see how they do (I think we're in for a warmish winter, so I should be okay with the potatoes/sweet potatoes. And I could plant more corn in the potato bed while I'm at it...)

And the realisation that I have a YT assignment, a pinch-hit, my Pacific Rim Secret Santa (AO3), my Pacific Rim Secret Santa (Tumblr), and my Maria Hill/Steve Rogers Secret Santa (Tumblr), and at least three of them are due by Friday.

Have a written a word to any of them? NOPE.

*facepalm*

Also, seasonal cards will be sent this week - hopefully with a gift in them, depending on time and certain things arriving. They should arrive in time for the New Year!

And now I have to do a bunch of work that I couldn't quite get done last week, while doing a bunch of stuff I've been assigned for this week, and trying to work out if I'm still working next week...

Somewhere amidst all this, I want to have friends around on the 2nd Jan for lunch/a BBQ, my uncle&aunt over (they paid the conveyancing fees for our house purchase), and maybe do a 'cousins thing' (where we invite the cousins and their families around en masse and be family).

...sheesh.
