rewatch time, I guess

You are made of sterner stuff than me. Though the Maria Hill episode is gold -- but that comes in the later, much-better stretch. :)

This is true!

However, I've found it gets a bit better with a rewatch, once you know where the characters are going to end up, and that they're not going to be treading the same old skanky water for another three seasons. (*cough*SGA*cough*)

Hmm, that is a good point -- marathoning also cures many ills; I think our brains see patterns better then, and it evens out the narrative.
