Step One:
Make a post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you're most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple (fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car).
Just make sure these are wishes for things you really truly want.
Step Two:
Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish comes true.
Sometimes a person's trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.
Step Three:
Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday fairy - to spread the joy.
Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
I don't need much materially, although sometimes there are 'nice to finds', you know?
In no particular order:
1. Someone (else) to (also) write the Steve/Maria EPIC MCU Civil War fic of my heart. Two very different people, two very different views, how could love ever be enough? WANT. DESPERATELY.
2. A bottle/imp/sniffie of BPAL's Formula 54, Parker Lily, or Lilith Victoria. All Limited Editions, and nearly impossible-to-finds. I have other rares, but I've never managed to try Formula 54 or Parker Lily, and I got a bottle of Lilith Victoria earlier this week and discovered it is BEAUTIFUL on me.
3. A "five man band" fic with Maria, Melinda, Sif, Akela, and Pepper. Doing things, discussing things, organising the world (or the universe) to their liking. And being awesome. Cameos permitted, but I want these women most particularly.
4. A decent-sized Mako/Raleigh fic, the development of their relationship post-Pitfall. I know it's been done and many a time, but not recently, and I want NEW BLOOD.
5. Dulce du leche M&Ms. I had them once in California (back, oh, 10 years) and I've never seen them again. Can you even get them anymore? Do they exist?
6. BBC Merlin, Arthur/Gwen recs. I drifted out of the Merlin fandom some time ago - the show itself never really captured my interest, but Gwen and the dynamics between her and Arthur, her and Merlin, and her and Morgana, were my catnip. I never dared venture out into the fandom because, well, black woman/white guy when there's another cute white guy to pair him with, it never ends well and MY EYES OH MY EYES. But I would really like to find some good Gwen-centric and Gwen/Arthur fic from Merlin fandom.
7. A co-watcher for Agents of SHIELD/Peggy Carter/Daredevil/Jessica Jones/sense8 sometime between the 19th December and the 3rd January. We'll make times and dates that suit us both, get all the episodes, and sit down and watch while chatting or liveblogging or doing something that involves exchanging opinions while watching. It seems to be the only way I can persuade myself to sit still long enough to see episodes, and I have two weeks of holidays - I can spend it all sewing and reading and writing, but I'd prefer not to.
8. NCIS recs for Tony/Ziva fic - preferably very pro-Ziva fic, and casefic is always safe on the not-sappy front. I don't really care what season - NCIS is one of those things where you can pretty much walk into any season and it's all the same anyway.
Actually, what I'd really like is a Virtual Season ZIVA where NCIS fanfic writers write a season's worth of casefile fics which feature Ziva staying on with the team and her and Tony getting together.

9. Quotations for gifsets for any of the following women: Maria Hill, Ziva David, Teyla Emmagan, Sam Carter, Gwen (BBC Merlin), Wonder Woman, Mako Mori.
10. Someone to kick me in the butt regularly (once a month, once every two weeks) for original fiction? I think I'm going to need an 'editor' who at least mails me, demanding what I've done and where their latest chapter is. Even if I'm grinding it out, at least it's out, and new ideas can flow forth.
11. A playlist (pref. downloadable) themed for any of the following women: Maria Hill, Ziva David, Teyla Emmagan, Sam Carter, Gwen (BBC Merlin), Wonder Woman, Mako Mori. I don't mind what kind of music, or whether you think it's music that characterises them or which they'd listen to - whatever is your thing, please!
