So for those of you who don't like Negative Nellies (as a former LJ friend once said: "Just because I will defend to the death your right to say this doesn't mean I want to listen to it" - and yes, it was in reference to personal problems, not something like, say, politics), this is the upbeat post.

Due to not having to go in to work this week, I am spending at least 2 hours at the local library writing every day. It means I'm getting actual writing done. Not as much as I hoped, and not on the stories I wish I was writing, but...WRITING.

Which I'm going to need. Argh Smut Swap! (Don't even talk to me about Ship Swap. Don't. Even.)

I finally finished Stockholm In Subversion, the MCU AU Dark!Fic that I started during the mcu_aufest last year and which wasn't finished in time to gift to my recip. (Warnings: referenced dubcon, people doing what they have to in order to get by, etc.)

Oh damn. MCU Rolling Remix. Must remember to get that done. I have notes. I have ideas. I just need to write the damn thing.

So. Many. Ideas.

We're on a timer now. I go to see Cap 3 on the 29th April, and I think what I can hope for is to be entertained. And maybe surprised with Maria Hill. But I'm not holding my breath on that - I just don't believe they have the ingenuity to pull it off. *shakes fist at Marvel movies*

Yay! Good to hear.

Mind you, I don't think of you as a Negative Nellie. You are going through a bad patch. We all have them, and this one is harder than most because you aren't in a position where you can say with Authority that this is absolutely not the new normal, and where the end of the tunnel is scheduled and on the calendar.

I'll be here to cheer when you are on top of the world again too. Because you will be. Wait for iiiiiit—

I just worry that the radio silence is not because other people have lives, but because they're tired of hearing about my stuff...
