Sooo...

Turns out the antibiotic capsule covers have salicylates in them. I've been taking them for the last week and the hand and foot have been all tingly again.

Last night, for my dose of antibiotic, I took the powder without the capsule (in some oat bran porridge to disguise the flavour) and the tingling seems to have faded somewhat.

*sigh*

Note to self: pull the capsules apart in future, and perhaps start looking for non-salicylate capsules to replace them.

Surely there's an option for people allergic to aspirin. Or at least I hope there is.

For non-salicylate capsules for those who are allergic to aspirin, because usually what they're allergic to is the salicylates.

I'm sure it's beyond frustrating finding all these things out after the fact. I'm so sorry you're going through all this.

... well at least now you know? Sigh.
