A lot of remixes that came out all at once! And the RemixMe and FemmeRemix were due pretty much within days of each other, which made things a little crazy while I was on holidays...

MCU Rolling Remix

title: there is no in-between (fight the good fight remix)
summary: We’d rather have you with us, than against us, Peggy Carter told her after Madripoor. At the time, Maria thought it foolish flattery – appreciated it, sure, but it was a sweetener, not the truth. Then again, she’s now Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, so it seems the former Director was right.

notes: Okay, so I seriously twisted the story around so that I could shoehorn Maria into the plot, because the original story didn't even mention her and, well, I knew that if I didn't rectify that, she wouldn't get mentioned for the rest of the remix. But apparently I spearheaded the charge into 'Team SHIELD' territory? At last according to the MCU Rolling Remix Masterlist. So, it's interesting to see where people took the original story and how they interpreted it.

summary: Kate was never the kind to lie to herself. She picks the corner table because it means she can keep an eye on everything in the bar – and it’s definitely an everything kind of bar.

notes: I had a brief panic attack when I saw my assignment, because the characters weren't my usual ones, then I got a grip and started writing. I think it turned out okay, even if it wasn't quite the story I wanted to tell ("a ghost, a cop, and the Key walk into a bar - and it ain't no joke").

notes: It was a little surprising to end up writing two Buffy&Angel remixes after such a long time since being in the fandom. But, yeah. This was seriously abbreviated from what I felt should be an EPIC STORY about the end of the world. (Again!) I really liked the idea of time having passed and the world of the Watchers and Slayers being very different to how it was at the time that the shows ended, but I was out of time.

I was 95% certain you were the author I was remixing for Rolling Remix, so I felt a smug little glow when proved right.
