Root canal tooth feels really swollen yesterday and today.

I know the tooth can't feel swollen, but it does. And that section of gum above it is throbbing.

Do I get the implant out and risk adding to the pain, while removing at least one thing that could be a problem? Or do I just leave it and try to speak with the dentist/endo about the throbbing/headaches? (I've spoken to them before, but they're reluctant to do anything with the RC tooth.)

I don't know why the RC tooth has suddenly decided to act up. I got antibiotics and they seemed to be working (although I did only take them once yesterday and then missed this morning's load) but the last few days have still been really uncomfortable.

And this is really tiring. Yes, I've been taking painkillers occasionally, to alleviate things when they're particularly bad, but I really don't want to do that regularly.

I called my dentist this morning, he was supposed to call around 1:45pm, but it's now 3pm. I have a call at 5pm, so...yeah, I can call him again and ask to speak with him but...

...the endodontist did this the other week, too. Which is only heightening my feeling that I'm being slowly disconnected from professionals who might help.
