First thing: I want you to stay calm if you're terrified of making something for me. STAY CALM.

Second thing: Everything in this letter (okay, except the requirement of Steve/Maria as a pairing) is OPTIONAL. If you can't do any of what I'm suggestion, go for what you can and don't stresss it.

Third thing: Thank you so very much for participating - our teeny tiny corner of fandom needs all the Maria/Steve we can produce! I will love whatever you've created because you've enlarged the fandom just that little bit.

ideas for stories
General notes:

I would definitely prefer a happy ending, or at least a happy-for-now ending.

No kidfic - especially not the idea of babies-as-the-expression-of-true-love.

I don't mind AUs - pick one, write them into it, worldbuild! Just so long as Maria and Steve are still recognisably their personalities.

Request 1:

Civil War: if you want to rewrite it with Maria in it, focusing on the issue of Registration - where are the lines drawn between freedom and responsibility? How do Steve and Maria see differently on this matter (do they) and how do they resolve it?

Request 2:

Something with Steve getting "the shovel talk" from at least Nick, Melinda, and Melinda's mom. Anyone else that you care to add would be hilarious, too. (Shovel talk stories should always be hilarious, particularly when dealing with people who are inherently dangerous. Actually, the more comedic ones come from the people who seem nice on the outside but will GUT YOU IF YOU HURT HIM/HER.)

(You could write Maria getting the shovel talks, too, but I think it's funnier with people threatening to dismember Steve.)

Request 3:

Something about their jobs, about the dangers they pose to each other's work - a weakness in the armour.

ideas for art/non-writing

Types of art I would like: gifsets for tumblr, art-and-playlists, icons. Please, no wallpapers, I don't use them so there's no point in making them.

My favourite kind of art are drawn pictures, but not everyone has that skill (certainly I don't).

My next favourite are graphic manips that have been cunningly adjusted so they look like it was the original picture. It takes a lot of skill and a lot of time, and if that's not your thing, it's quite okay.

Also, if you want to tell a story with art, that could be a possibility, too - eg. the 'shovel talk' prompt for a story could be shown with a series of gifsets of the various people quoting what might be the core of their 'shovel talk' with Steve.

Art-and-playlists are always interesting - new music of varying types and kinds, songs that I can associate with Maria/Steve. I have a fondness for classic rock, ballads, singalong pop, and jazz, but for the most part I'm pretty easy.

Icons, I like both empty space and close-ups, interesting framing/cropping, and I don't mind text that's elegantly or appropriately done. Look at the range of my icons here and here if you want an idea of what I like. (Also, if you're making icons, please do a reasonable number, at least 8.)
