My reaction is probably also a spoiler, so I'm going to cut this.
Does anyone else have the feeling that TPTB hand-crafted this episode purely to piss most of the fandom off?

I thought this ep was both well and badly written. It was kind of strange. I mean, the overarching theme and the overlaps and stuff were well done, and Rodney's character stuff tracked with what we've seen so far this season, but the Weir parts were just SO BAD and the John and Ronon parts were just so pointless and...why couldn't the bomb squad have come in and wrapped Carson and the nurse in protective gear?
They'll never top "Heroes" and "Heroes" was also, unfortunatly, a doctor, so they couldn't even give Weir a decent speech because the good one was already taken. And then the ending just destroyed any chance I had at taking this episode seriously. I think I could have handled either a hallucination or Rodney saying that Carson was his best friend...but not both.
*soldiers on, knowing that fandom, at least, writes good Teyla*
