about the fic

I want female characters with agency and self-determination and choices as the centre point, pivot point, reason, and/or purpose of the story.

This first point is an absolute must; I don't want to hear how she needs help or love or children or something and finds it and it makes her a 'better' person, how she helps a couple of guys get together, or undertakes an endeavour where the point is her failure. I want something that's about the success of women, about the amazingness of the female, the feminine, and the feminist.

want
- depiction (in background or foreground) of het relationships where the guy respects and admires the female character and trusts her professionally, too.
- depiction of female friendships that can transcend the usual splitting points of men and beauty standards
- happy or hopeful endings

do not want
- non-con, dubcon, BDSM without consent negotiation
- female characters pushed to the back of the story
- bodily fluids, guro, etc.


MCU
This can best be described as "Maria Hill & everyone". Basically, I want fic with Maria Hill as the central character, in friendship, in romance, in action, being awesome.

This is the woman who challenged Nick Fury, then defended him against the council. This is the woman who rescued Captain America, the Black Widow, and the Falcon from HYDRA without any superpowers or enhancements. This is someone who complains to Pepper Potts, CEO of Stark Industries. This is the woman who made friends with the Avengers to the point where it's perfectly acceptable for her to wear Steve Rogers' jacket and poke fun at him, while taking mission reports and also working with Nick Fury.

Yes, I take the 'deleted scenes' into canon account. (You would, too, if your favourite was otherwise glossed over by canon and fanon both.)

Give me fic which deals with her job, with the people she likes and/or loves. Give me a stoic, sensible woman, well aware of her responsibilities and the responsibilities of others, but willing to let people under her defences. Give me laughter and teasing, fun and friendship, good times or badtimes -

The two options for a sedoretu (foursome marriage) are Steve/Maria/Natasha/Bucky, or Steve/Maria/Pepper/Tony. If you know anything about sedoretu marriages, then I want Steve/Maria to be one sexual relationship in both sets of sedoretu, but I'd like insight into all the dynamics - even the platonic ones of Steve&Natasha or Steve&Pepper, and Maria&Bucky or Maria&Tony (whichever sedoretu foursome you go with).


Stargate Atlantis

This prompt is pretty much Teyla and team, Teyla & Sam, Teyla & Kate. I love Teyla as the practical, pragmatic one of the team, above and beyond any of the men - although not the 'sighing mother fondly looking at her boys' trope, but the woman who deals with the here and now, and whose social skills and emotional maturity outdoes those of her team-mates, and they're okay with that (except Rodney, who would protest that he's inferior in anything).

Fics in which the characters work to find a compromise or solution, where soft power - negotiation and compromise - are not neglected or scorned, and where power is seen as a slippery slope.


Rogue One

Multiple options here. I'll admit, my first inclination here is Cassian/Jyn and all the hopeful possibilities right before the Death Star backwash destroys them. However, I am also up for The Odd Couple In Space, a.k.a. Chirrut/Baze being snarky and exasperated and fond of each other, while still being totally together. In addition to which, I am a complete sucker for Found Family - and Cassian, Jyn, Bodhi, Chirrut, and Baze gave me ALL THE FEELS.

I don't need the cutesy - in fact, cutesy would be rather out of place for any of these characters. Give me the concern in the middle of conflict, the tenderness in the middle of terrifying situations, the affection in the middle of action - with either a happy or a canon ending. (This is one where the happy/hopeful ending can be ignored, so long as they succeed in their mission.)


Angel the Series

Sedoretu again: I have to admit, I've never imagined a Buffy/Angel/Wesley/Faith sedoretu before, but I like it. The pairings I want to see are Angel/Buffy, Buffy/Faith, Faith/Wesley, Wesley/Angel, but I also want the friendship/dynamic between Angel and Faith (should be easy enough) and Buffy and Wes (more difficult).

Or else, Faith/Wes, which is my catnip - edgy and hard, tinged with cruelty, cutting and bitter with their shared history? Or write an episode from "Faith The Vampire Slayer" where she encounters Wes and they circle each other like creatures uncertain of their welcome!


Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Diana is my focus here. I've always loved the Diana/Bruce dynamic in other JL media (specifically the Justice League animated series) and would love to see a depiction of their relationship in the DC Cinematic Universe - how exactly does a mortal man go about seducing an immortal woman who'd never met a man until eighty years ago? How does a mortal woman go about living in 'Man's World' when things are so different in her homelands?

I have always seen both Diana & Clark, and Bruce & Clark as strictly friendship, with Clark/Lois always and ever my Clark OTP.

That said, I really really want to see someone's take on a Bruce/Diana/Lois/Clark sedoretu marriage, particularly in light of Lois and Bruce being "merely human" compared to Diana and Clark.

Finally, please don't stress this. I want you to enjoy writing for me! These are ideas that I have, and I'm not hugely attached to them, so if you can write my optional details without twisting your brain in knots, go for it!

If you can't, then focus on the characters I've talked about and write your thing, and it will be fine.
