I've never posted my sketches here before. In fact, I've never previously done Atlantis sketches!

I have issues with the lack of tension in their poses. John and Ronon should be a lot more *grr* than they are. Yes, my foreshortening of John's right hand and shoulder sucks. :(
And here's the layout sketch I did to make sure I had people in position and rough body poses correct - this one has Elizabeth, Cameron (Mitchell), and Carson in it. By the time I finished putting Rodney in the actual drawing, I couldn't be bothered adding anyone else!

As you can see, I lean heavily on comic-book drawing style (my 'original' sense of anatomy is freakishly skewed) - hence the notes on the characters and their poses. (I used Marvel's 'Ultimate X-Men' book - the 2000 version - as a visual template for poses and a rough sense of musculature.)
I should try a few Teyla-sketches sometime.
