Why isn't it Friday yet?
I have minor things to work on today - little nitpicky things. There was a fire drill due around 10:30, and to escape having to descend 29 floors, I went down to the ground around that time. But our floor didn't evac until 11am, and it took them 30 mins to descend to ground level, so I ran my phone battery flat.
I came in 'late' (9am) after a medical appointment anyway, and contemplating only putting in half a day because I didn't really have a full day's work. But they don't like that idea in this office; you're in, you're in for the full day.
My AU Exchange fic is far from done, and something said this morning has soured me on the idea which I was going to write and I'm tempted to throw in the towel rather than bother.
I really just want to stay home and work in my garden, but that's not an option right now.
At least I can go straight home tonight.
