Four days at sea and I'm feeling a bit light-headed - like everything is swaying a little.

The holiday was excellent; plenty of sea and time, food and chances to read and write and quilt. Did I do as much as I hoped? I did not. But I enjoyed myself and the time spent with the women I travelled with, and I think the Pacific Explorer was a much nicer ship than the last one we went on. (Pacific Eden, maybe? Pacific Aria? I don't remember anymore.)

I came back to a sink full of dishes, my sister at my sewing space, and a four cubic metre pile of woodchips. *sigh*

This week, I will be writing and quilting and gardening.

1. 1300 words a day (min) to the manuscript. It will be my birthday present to myself.
- fanfic to happen as time is available

2. 2 quilts to finish
#1 quilt - complete tonight or tomorrow
- all threads are buried
- binding to be sewn on this afternoon
- label to be done this evening
- hanging sleeve on tomorrow

#2 quilt
- finish quilting (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
- binding, labelling, sleeve (Thursday, Friday)

3. Compost piles to make out of fencing and woodchips.
- around plum, stone, apple, apricot, avocado, peach, cherry (backyard)(may need to work out how to make low fencing to hold the chips in around the tree root system)
- into composting bay
- into chook run

- into compost bin in front chook yard
- in windrow along front fence (may need to work out how to make low fencing to hold it in)
- into passionfruit bed
-

4. Plants to plant out (Vegepod, spring bulbs)
- empty cement planters of soil
- move planters to front balcony
- fill with soil
- replant with bulbs for spring

So...a few things to do...
