A friend on FB reminded me that in a week, we'll have new windows, a clean house, and the cats will be back!

I'm clinging to that right now, because I'd really like to cry.

You are a good owner. The windows have to be replaced, and they would not find being at home while that happens any more pleasant than being at the place they'll be staying.

I happen to be a week late to read this post (I'm still trying to catch up on dw after my computer died) so I hope this is all finished and the cats are doing awesome! ♡ But omg I understand - we've left our cats in a cat hotel 3 times so far, and I always go 'I left them alone D:' every once in a while. But they're always fine. :D *hugs*
