It makes it worse that these are IT geeks and we RAMBLE.

(Male IT geeks in particular seem to love the sound of their own voices.)

I am absolutely terrible at paying attention in meetings - and 90% of the time, that meeting could have been a damn email!

This is the "should be a brief, five minute meeting during which anyone who has issues brings them up" which inevitably turns into a full "I need to justify my position on this project, so I am going to explain exactly what I've been doing in the last 24 hours" blah di blah di blah...
